Russia and China deny any real aid to Iran

The war of the Zionist state against Iran has the direct support, and/or political endorsement, of all the old imperialist powers of America and Europe. The new imperialist powers, Russia and China, rivals of the former, won't lift a finger to defend Iran. This is a bare fact. A fact full of political significance, for anyone willing to face reality.

First of all – the Zionist war has wiped out in few hours the hypocritical humanitarian masquerade of European imperialists for the 70000 Palestinians killed. All the governments of Europe lined up as one single man in support of Israel's 'right to self-defence' against Iran. No surprise there. It is the replay on a different scale of the post-7 October, and more generally of the falsified history of Israel and the Middle East. That is the history of the Zionist state as a democratic bulwark besieged by Arabs and Persians. The paradoxical fact that the only state in the Middle East with (two hundred) nuclear warheads claims to prohibit another state in the region from building one is removed in its enormity, as any evidence of truth. While Iran's right to its own self-defence against Zionist aggression, that is an elementary right of sovereignty, is denounced as... 'escalation'.
We have said it again and again: the reactionary theocratic regime in Tehran is the enemy of the workers and oppressed masses of Iran. But these very masses, and only they, have the right to overthrow this regime, for their own alternative of society. It is certainly not Netanyahu's bloodthirsty regime who has the right to do it, for its own despotic control of the Middle East.

The facts show that Israel's terrorism has in any case and everywhere the passport of 'legality', in Gaza, in the West Bank, in Lebanon, in Syria, and now in Iran – it is the passport of a colonial state with the certified stamp of imperialism. That is the same imperialism, first British, then American, that blessed the Zionist colonisation of Palestine from the very beginning (in 1948 with the vote and weapons of Stalin). The whole history of Israel is basically the replica of its genesis.

What should not be taken for granted, according to the logic of the 'campist' left-wing, is the behaviour of Russia and China.
Russia and China, as is well known, have direct relations with Iran. Russia has formally entered into a strategic partnership with Tehran (political, diplomatic, economic, military). China is the main customer for Iranian oil. Iran is, moreover, part of the famous Russia-China led 'BRICS area', praised by many on the left as a democratic and progressive counterpart to NATO.
Well. What are Russia and China doing to help Iran under Zionist aggression? Nothing at all. We are obviously not talking about entering the war, which would be catastrophic. We are simply talking about military aid, which is something qualitatively different. For example, Iran would desperately need help in air defence, to protect cities, infrastructure, plants. And Iran would have every right to use any help from allied imperialist powers (China and Russia) to defend itself against Zionist aggression. Just as Ukraine is entitled to use the aid of NATO imperialist powers to defend itself against the invasion of Russian imperialism. But nothing.

China, which is negotiating with the US on tariffs, confined itself to a platonic 'concern'. Putin phoned Trump, a decisive supporter of the Israeli war machine -- at the very moment when Trump was celebrating Israel's 'military success' -- to offer diplomatic help... to the US, for a undefined mediation. Imagine the message: ''Dear Trump, if you need help in achieving Iran's capitulation I am ready... Just let us continue, in return, as you are actually doing, to wage our invasion war in Ukraine, with the goal of the future partition of this country between you and us".
The truth is that Russian imperialism, like Chinese imperialism, has no intention of ruining relations with the USA, or even Israel, to defend one of its allies. Not even when the ally is under the bombs supported by rival imperialists.

For the old and new imperialist powers, the world is just a game board. For all of them, the rights of peoples are only bargaining chips. There are no 'friend' imperialist countries. The oppressed peoples, starting with the people of Palestine, have nothing to expect from them. Only a revolutionary mobilisation of the oppressed peoples can free the Middle East from Zionism and imperialism. Only an international socialist revolution can free the world from the bandits who dominate it.
